Provence Marinaside Presents JoieFarm Winemaker Dinner

If you enjoy BC wines, mark November 27 on your calendar and be sure not to miss a five-course winemaker dinner presented by Provence Marinaside in honour of Naramata Bench winery JoieFarm. “JoieFarm and Heidi Noble have been producing award-winning wines since 2004,” says Provence’s Wine Director, Joshua Carlson. “They are especially known for their aromatic white wines, mouth-watering rosé, and world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.”

Every summer, Carlson, along with Provence’s Executive Chef/Owner Jean Francis Quaglia and members of the sommelier team, travel to BC wine country to engage in in-depth tastings with winemakers to select wines for the restaurant’s list. Provence Marinaside (along with its adjacent wine bar TWB) is famed for offering the largest wine-by-the-glass selection in North America. “Meeting the winemakers and seeing the terroir is an important part of the education process for Provence’s staff,” continues Carlson. “We are pleased to showcase the wines of JoieFarm; they are a wonderful complement to our cuisine.”

Noble concurs, “The creation of the menu for our winemaker’s dinner was a three-way collaboration between Chef Jean-Francis, Josh, and myself. Josh has intimate knowledge of the JoieFarm portfolio having been working with our wines since our first vintage in 2004 and our wines speak well to JF’s Southern French heritage and his Mediterranean menu. This dinner will be a great opportunity to share a selection of our core wines, as well as wines from our library selection, with a menu that will elevate our wines.”

There are only 65 seats available for this exceptional dinner. Each table will be hosted by a member of the JoieFarm team – offering a unique opportunity for authentic and intimate interaction with the people and wine of JoieFarm. The evening begins with a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by the dinner at 7 p.m.
