THE VICTOR REOPENS at PARQ VANCOUVER

Upscale steak and seafood restaurant at Parq Vancouver to resume dine-in service, brings back daily Happy Hour features and prix-fixe Supper Club Menu

One of Vancouver’s most elegant restaurants is ready to welcome guests back to its luxurious dining room, lounge and patio as The Victor is now open.

Perched high above street level on the sixth floor of Vancouver’s iconic Parq Vancouver complex, the celebrated fine-dining destination delivers a contemporary North American steak-and-seafood experience in an atmosphere of Old-World opulence. The luxurious restaurant interior features an expansive sushi bar, and an intimate lounge space appointed with plush velvet seating, stylish light fixtures and glimmering gold accents. Additional seating is also available on the lush open-air patio, which overlooks the hotel’s beautifully landscaped park terrace and offers spectacular views of the nearby B.C. Place.

The Victor’s acclaimed coastal menus are overseen by Executive Chef Garett Blundell and showcase an array of fresh-caught seafood from the Pacific Northwest, premium specialty steaks, and an elevated sushi and raw bar. Exceptional cuisine is complemented by a refined beverage program, which features a curated collection of signature cocktails, craft beers from local brewers, and one of the largest in-house Enomatic wine systems in the country.

Upon reopening, The Victor will resume its popular ‘Raw ‘N’ Roll’ Happy Hour service, offered daily from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the bar and lounge. The premium happy hour menu includes seafood raw bar items ranging from $10 to $14 – including rolls, three-piece scallop sashimi plates, and torched Aburi-style sushi – in addition to six bespoke cocktails priced at $11. Guests can imbibe in classic libations or opt for original Japanese-inspired sippers such as the Crouching Tiger cocktail, which features a sophisticated mix of Bombay Sapphire gin, Fukumitsuya sake, Lillet Blanc, fresh yuzu, lime and thyme.

The Victor will also bring back its popular prix-fixe Supper Club Menu, which offers gourmet multi-course dining at exceptional value. Available daily from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the three-course menu features a choice of appetizer, main and dessert for just $49. Menu options include Caesar Salad, Mango & Chili Maki Roll, or Lobster & Crab Bisque to start, followed by a choice of Salmon Steak, 10 oz. centre-cut ‘Delmonico’ Ribeye Steak, or Summer Truffle Risotto. For dessert, diners can opt for a decadent Black Forest Gateau or the restaurant’s signature Menke’s Cake featuring delicate layers of vanilla sponge, toasted coconut custard and coconut mousse.

In keeping with Vancouver’s public health guidelines, The Victor will be implementing a COVID Safety Program to protect all restaurant patrons and employees upon reopening. Staff will be equipped with PPE and will be required to conduct frequent sanitization of all high-touch surfaces, equipment and common areas. Seating throughout the restaurant has been reduced and reconfigured to allow for increased space for physical distancing between diners.

The Victor will be open 7 nights a week from 5 p.m. For more information about The Victor and to make reservations, visit www.parqvancouver.com/food-drink/the-victor.
