FOR SOMETHING TO TRULY BE CRAFT, IT SHOULD CHANGE AS YOU CHANGE.
Creating magical and inclusive experiences that tell a different story each and every time. My ever-changing moveable feasts are on held on farms, indoors, and sometimes in different provinces.
A little pop up dinner series, by a little person. Edible storytelling by Aman Dosanj, (winner ‘Culinary Tourism Experience’ at the Canadian Tourism Awards 2018). Showing how food connects us.
seize the day
As the days get shorter (especially during take down) and the nights get cooler, I’m going to squeeze a few more Kelowna-based outdoor pop up dinners in as the leaves turn brown – we may need to bundle up as we’re 6-feet together. I have an overactive imagination, so, like always, every 4-course Okanagan-inspired dinner is different.
Join me for another night of edible storytelling on Sunday, September 27 in the courtyard at Bright Jenny Coffee (Kelowna) Poetry on a Plate.
This time, each of the seasonally-inspired 4-courses will be garnished by original food-based poems by Aman Dosanj.
Arrive at 5:45 PM for 6:15 PM dinner.
This event features a set menu, which won’t be shared until each course is up (I like surprises). A little request is for you to contact Aman with allergies before purchasing tickets (please and thank you).
The other stuff:
$118 per person
Ticket price does not include gratuity
Tickets are first-come-first-served
To save on credit card fees this year and go direct-to-the-source, e-transfer payments will be needed to secure your tickets once your spots are confirmed
Tickets are non-refundable but transferable
Wear something warm, bring a blanket. The event is rain or shine.
If you are unwell or display signs of Covid-19, you will politely be asked to stay home and a full refund will be given
To book, contact aman@nullpaisleynotebook.com with your party size (up to 6), contact telephone number and any allergies. I’ll let you know the next steps and then the magic can begin.

[the paisley notebook] is firstly a community-building project, raising over $60k for local charities since 2017. But it’s also my little platform to play with like-minded people who aren’t necessarily food people and let super talented humans shine.
Every year for the past four, I’ve put on a collaborative dinner to celebrate International Women’s Day. 100% of proceeds (after operating costs) goes to our local charities and it’s pretty magical. March 8, each and every year has been a special day for me. The 2020 date was my last, but Paisley will continue with smaller gestures of kindness and there’s always a collab of sorts happening.
Stay tuned.
