DanceHouse , in partnership with Dancers of Damelahamid , launches its exhilarating 2019/20 season with Australia’s acclaimed Bangarra Dance Theatre in the Canadian Premiere of Spirit , October 25 & 26, 2019 at 8pm at the Vancouver Playhouse.
Taking place on October 17th and running until the 31st, this is the second year Tsawwassen Mills is hosting their epic Monster Maze. Offering an alternative to the typical weather-dependent outdoor events being offered around the city, the Tsawwassen Mills Halloween experience allows visitors to not only shop and dine at the mall’s many vendors, but experience a family-friendly Halloween event.
Set in a mythical “once upon a time” sort of landscape, Shrek the Musical is just like the animated movie series and chronicles the life of a hulking green ogre who, after being mocked and feared his entire life, retreats to an ugly green swamp to exist in happy isolation. Along the way, he meets others as unique as he is, realizes his own self-worth and spoiler alert – overcomes the bullies who have taunted him his entire existence.
