The countdown is on! In just over one week, some 400 plus restaurants, grocery stores and seafood suppliers will be serving up delicious offerings with proceeds supporting the not-for-profit Ocean Wise Seafood program.
Walter Craft Caesar is hosting a ‘Caesar the Summer’ Canada Day Giveaway Contest where one lucky entrant will win a summer staycation package that is jam-packed with everything needed to make unforgettable Caesars, as well as a host of other great prizes that will help them make the most of summer at home.
The festival raised $8,041 for the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS) through a silent auction, 50/50 draw, and a portion of ticket sales. “Two years ago we were lucky enough to name a dog as a gesture of thanks from PADS for the funds we had raised,” Hamer said. “Vesper is now in advanced training, and I’m happy we can continue to contribute to her training with the hope she’ll successfully complete the program and be placed with one of PADS’ clients.”
