From the Wine Capital of Canada | Kismet Estate Winery

Led by Head Winemaker Manpreet Dhaliwal, Canada’s first and only South Asian female head winemaker and a BCBusiness 30 Under 30 honouree, Kismet brings together award-winning wine, a family-built vineyard legacy, and a hospitality experience rooted in story and place.

“Kismet has always been about more than what is in the glass,” says Manpreet Dhaliwal, Head Winemaker, Kismet Estate Winery.

Kismet Estate Winery heads into summer with the estate in full swing. The family-owned Oliver winery is pouring new 2025 wines, preparing for Holi Festival of Colour, and welcoming guests for live music nights and regional Indian dining at Manzil.

Let’s explore three Kismet Estate wines that are ideal for summer:

2025 Infinity Rosé

Vintage
2025

Varietal
Rosé

Appellation
Okanagan Valley

This delightful Rosé incorporates fruit from our top vineyards. We created our Rosé through the saignée or bleeding method from eight red grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Grenache.

The finished wine is balanced and concentrated and deftly marries power with elegance. Fresh ripe raspberry aroma followed by strawberry flavours. We suggest trying it with salmon, sushi, or Mediterranean tapas.

The blend in this wine might confuse you but once you’ve tasted it you will understand the reasoning.

With enticing aromas of fresh picked berries and some ever so slightly herbal notes on the nose your interest should be peaked.

Nice acidity follows with a just less than medium body. Smooth and rich with the scents following to the palate with the ripening fruit taking the lead.

2025 Pinot Grigio

Vintage
2025

Varietal
Pinot Grigio

Appellation
Okanagan Valley

100% BC VQA.

Bright, powerful acidity invigorates the palate and the medley of fruits takes center stage, with the refreshing taste of peach, pear, and apple. The floral undertone of chamomile adds a layer of sophistication, while a gentle almond note lends a subtle nutty complexity. The palate extends into a harmonious blend of melon and pineapple that lingers, leaving a refreshing and memorable impression.

A slight dusty note of roses on the nose. Quite floral and delicately scented with white peach.

The palate follows the nose with delightful stone fruit. Finely honed acidity that compliments rather than overtaking. Very drinkable.

This wine represents summer in a glass and you will enjoy how refreshing it is.

2022 Viognier Roussanne

100% BC VQA.

80% Viognier, 20%Roussanne

The 2022 Viognier–Roussanne is a beautifully balanced blend led by Viognier, offering expressive notes of fresh apple layered with soft, buttery undertones from six months of French oak aging. The oak adds gentle texture and richness without overpowering the fruit, creating a smooth, rounded palate with depth and elegance.

This is a refined, medium-bodied white with a creamy mouthfeel and a clean, lingering finish.

Opening with floral notes and a little bit of citrus. A mix of fruit notes on the nose that are reminiscent of an Okanagan fruit stand.

Those lovely orchard fruit notes come to life on the palate with nice acidity and good balance. Smooth but structured and full in the mouth.

On the finish the floral notes and citrus bring it home.
