Thanksgiving Brunch – Sunday, October 13, 10:30 am – 1:00 pm at Globe@YVR, Fairmont Vancouver Airport. From house-made pastries to Thanksgiving-inspired carving stations, you are sure to have a memorable experience this year! Chef Kishore Rangan and his culinary team use local, fresh ingredients to bring the best brunch experience to you and your loved ones. Enjoy carving stations with a traditional roast turkey, topped with cranberry sauce and stuffing on the side as well as peppered crusted beef striploin, natural jus, and chimichurri. Our chefs will be at the live station making free run eggs in any way you like including omelets and benedicts. This buffet has all the works including breakfast favourites and blueberry and buttermilk pancakes, Belgium waffles, cheese and charcuterie, and cured seafood featuring gravlax and smoked salmon.  Available for $43 per adult and $21.50 per child (12 and under). Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 604-248-3281 or by email at vancouverairport@nullfairmont.com to reserve a table. Thanksgiving Brunch – Sunday, October 13: 11:30 am – 2:30 pm at Notch8, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Start with a spiced warm apple cider, cranberry citrus plum smoothie or kick it up with a selection from the Notch8 Caesar bar. The buffet includes a variety of Thanksgiving inspired egg dishes with stuffings, spreads such as smashed avocado and cranberry chutney, and sauces to build your own benny. All the favourites – bacon, sausage, baked goods from the pastry shop, cheese and charcuterie, scrumptious salads, seafood and salmon served smoked, candied, hot cedar plank smoked, and gravalax – are part of the spread. Festive fall dishes like pumpkin spiced buttermilk pancakes, apple pie French toast, gingersnap waffles, and Kabocha squash soup with candied pumpkin seeds are included along with prime rib and Yorkshire pudding, and of course, roasted turkey. Sweets include pumpkin pie, maple walnut sticky toffee pudding, dark chocolate pecan pie, pumpkin spice latte tiramisu, white chocolate candied ginger cheesecake, candied orange cranberry torte, carrot cake with maple cream cheese frosting, pumpkin spiced crème brule and more. Priced at $79 per adult (includes one complimentary Caesar cocktail), $39.50 for children ages 12 and under, and excludes taxes and gratuities. Thanksgiving Dinners:

ARC at Fairmont Waterfront available all weekend from Friday, October 11, to Monday, October 14, from 5:30 to 10:00 pm. Executive Chef Anthony Marzo is whipping up a home-style dinner in ARC this Thanksgiving.  Let us do the cooking (and the dishes) for your family – now that’s something to be thankful for! A delicious three course menu available for $70 per person, which is also available a la carte. Begin with refreshing roasted squash and spinach salad tossed with bacon & shallot vinaigrette, and finished with fresh pomegranate. Followed by Charred Carrot Veloute, carrot top pistou and spiced cream on top. Main entrée consisting of roasted turkey breast and confit leg with herb bread stuffing, green beans and traditional mouth-watering gravy. For dessert, the pastry chef has created a pumpkin spiced sticky toffee pudding topped with pumpkin ice cream. Please note that the entire table must commit for family style service. Globe@YVR at Fairmont Vancouver Airport (with complimentary parking) – Sunday, October 13 & Monday, October 14, from 5:30 pm.  A scrumptious three-course dinner created by Executive Chef Kishore Rangan and Restaurant Chef Ruth Wigman offers a choice of mushroom tortellini with verbena-lemon cream and local greens or Dungeness crab chowder with fresh crab and preserved lemon.  The entrée is a slow roasted Fraser Valley turkey with all the fixings including chef’s homemade cranberry relish, whipped potatoes, maple Brussel sprouts or charred corn risotto with black truffle butter, local vegetables and mascarpone cheese. Dessert is a dark chocolate salted caramel tart with passionfruit gel, pumpkin spice crumble topped with cranberry ice cream. Priced at $62 per person (excludes taxes, gratuity and beverages) or the option to only order the turkey priced at $37 per person (excludes taxes, gratuity and beverages), reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 604-248-3281 or emailing vancouverairport@fairmont.com. Notch8, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver – Sunday, October 13 & Monday, October 14, 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm. An indulgent three-course traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner that begins with roasted squash soup with pickled walnut and goat cheese. Followed by rotisserie buttermilk organic turkey with sage and apricot brioche stuffing, brown butter root vegetables, olive oil potato puree and jus for the entrée. A pumpkin cheesecake tart topped with charred meringue and cinnamon crunch ice cream completes the meal. Adults are $69, children 12 and under are $34.50 (not including taxes or gratuity). Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling 604-662-1900 or online through opentable. Gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options are available upon request.

Turkey to Go:

There is no shame in take out!  Allow us to take care of the details while you relax and toast the season with loved ones. Enjoy a fully prepared dinner of Fraser Valley slow-roasted turkey complete with all the fixings and a house-made dessert.  With the convenience of two pick up dates, all you need to do is take your roast home and warm it for your guests. An all-inclusive dinner, the turkey serves 8 – 10 guests and includes everything from bread rolls and butter to Fraser Valley Slow Roasted Turkey with sage infused gravy, local cranberry relish, traditional Yukon gold whipped potatoes, maple bacon Brussel sprouts, orange essence and traditional stuffing. Do not think we forgot dessert. We’ve included Pastry Chef John’s Pumpkin Pie topped with Candied Pumpkin Seeds and Cranberry Chantilly to finish off the meal.
