All are welcome to join in the BCHF’s FREE event, which involves engaging in physical activity of your choice and sharing your experience on social media.
King Leontes and King Polixenes are childhood friends but a tragic misunderstanding drives them a part and thrusts those they love into an incredible adventure. A story of joy, forgiveness, and the timeless power of love – The Winter’s Tale is staged on magical, starry nights outdoors in Ron Basford Park on Granville Island.
This year’s concert will be conducted by Music Director Otto Tausk and includes repertoire that has something for everyone — from classical favourites to film score hits including the Love Theme from Tchaikovsky’s Romeo & Juliet.
“I am really excited to have The Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer with Dawn Pemberton kick off the 10th year of Musical Nooners. They are an incredible live band with electrifying energy,” remarks Jon Siddall.
“We are thrilled to return to Sunset Beach, after last year’s success to further our commitment to our community and help create a cultural environment where families and communities can come together to experience symphonic music and build lasting traditions,” said Kelly Tweeddale
