I first was introduced to the wines of Nighthawk, a member of the Okanagan Falls Wineries Association, at the 2018 spring release tasting. The Spring Release Tasting is held in Vancouver annually in early spring and is a great way to taste the wines from this region.
Some more inside information? I saw Charlie counting our Cabernet Franc barrels last week, and it looks as though we have enough to make a Micro Lot of 70 cases single varietal this fall! For years, I have seen the name, ‘Vanessa Vineyards’ listed on some wines produced by Sandhill Winery.
