The important takeaway here is two-fold. One, drink what you like. Don’t let a wine score or the lack of one stand in the way of enjoying a good wine.

2017 Wren (Chardonnay) Schell Wines Kelowna, BC $32.19 Golden straw colour with medium intensity. Apple, lemon, caramel, and vanilla with honeydew undertones on the nose. Well balanced. For me, the best quote came from Joy Sterling, “Bubbles are comfort wine.” I totally agree and this serves as a good reminder to buy more BC Bubbles as we are so very lucky to have so many great ones to choose from.
