Leading the kitchen in Notch8 Restaurant & Bar at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is no small undertaking. The restaurant’s doors stay open 365 days a year, serving four different meal periods daily to guests from around the globe. Dennis Peckham rose to the challenge becoming Notch8’s Executive Chef in May 2019.
Iconic Wineries of British Columbia in partnership with Science World at TELUS World of Science presented Uncorked: A Celebration of the Science of Wine,’ a spectacular wine-themed event. A one night only event that featured internationally acclaimed winemakers, viticulturists and chefs from Iconic Wineries of British Columbia showcasing the science, craftsmanship and terroir that make Okanagan wines so extraordinary.
Clearly the Vancouver Fish Company knows seafood and how to prepare some fabulous fare. “Home of Amazing Seafood and West Coast Hospitality” is their mantra and I would concur. Although we enjoyed just a sampling of each dish it was enough to recommend Vancouver Fish Company as a “must visit” during Dine Out Vancouver Festival.
