These two wines, just a year apart are both very good, though clearly different in character. Just don’t ask me to pick a favourite.
Intrigue Lake Country, BC $17.00 Pale straw in colour with a touch of copper and medium-light intensity. The nose shows aromas of bright peaches and cream, lime and honeysuckle. 2015 Syrah-Viognier Hester Creek Oliver, BC $25.99 Garnet/black with deep intensity. An inviting nose of dark fruit, cocoa, earth, white pepper and vanilla. Good balance with soft ripe tannins.
