I had the great pleasure of attending the Vancouver International Wine Festival 2019 Preview at the Blue Water Café. California is the featured region this year and among others (almost 50 in total) you can sample wines from these familiar and well-respected wineries.
Launch of an exclusive house wine, a red Meritage, or Bordeaux-styled blend, for Hy’s and Gotham Steak House, named 18-six-18. The wine was created in partnership with Road 13 Winery on the Golden Bench in Oliver, BC.
The dawn of a new year is a good time to pause and look back at the year that was. I think that, like Thanksgiving, it is a good time to express some gratitude for our burgeoning BC wine industry. So, with this in mind, I raise a glass and say, “Cheers!”
