This fall saw the release of three new releases from Lillooet’s Fort Berens winery, a 2020 Chardonnay, a 2019 Cabernet Franc, and the 2019 Merlot dominant Meritage.

I specifically chose a Culmina Chardonnay, first and foremost, because they make such excellent wines, all on my favourites list.
Just to add a bit more Valentine’s colour to this dinner I am including the recipe for Roasted Red Pepper Soup, and yes, it uses Summer Fresh Roasted Red Pepper Hummus too, easy peasy!
