The dish was done on the bbq along with other root vegetables and served to lovers of rich, red wines. Hence, the choice of he Syrah. Sometimes you just have to move out of your comfort zone to find something special.

Deep, rich aromas of ripe fruit. Good colour and clarity. For such a young wine it has excellent body and distinctly mature flavours, mainly plum torte, followed by Red Delicious apples.
Our very first red in a bottle! Rubeus/Rubicon: Named after a river in Italy (the Rubicon) that marked the point of no return. True to the origins of this wine, a portion of the different varietals used in this blend are co-fermented.
The flavours mirror the nose followed by a medium-long finish. Very impressive. Be sure to buy some to cellar. If there are still people who do not think BC can produce great cab sauv, this wine will make them believers.Â
