SilverStar Mountain Resort and the BC Wine Cider & Spirits Festival are bringing back ‘Showpass presents Winterland – Wine, Cider & Spirits Tasting’ April 4th 2020 at SilverStar Mountain Resort from 4 pm to 7 pm for its second year.
On February 24th, the Sensory Symposium Salon Series at VV Tapas Lounge will host two all-star panel sessions exploring the issues facing local wineries and positioning this wine as “local” in the minds of Vancouver wine consumers. Throughout the evening, 8 different local wines will be sampled so the attendees can taste the unique terroir and award-winning flavours as the panelists speak to these issues.
Wine Campus, created in 2011 by Okanagan Crush Pad (OCP), is a mentorship program that provides selected Vancouver sommeliers with the unique chance to make a small lot wine using the grape variety and style of wine they wish.
