This week we completed our 10th harvest. In light of this milestone harvest, we wanted to pause and provide an update on what has been another successful growing season for us in Lillooet.
2017 Wren (Chardonnay) Schell Wines Kelowna, BC $32.19 Golden straw colour with medium intensity. Apple, lemon, caramel, and vanilla with honeydew undertones on the nose. Well balanced. Ricotta Gnocchi goes well with a nice tomato sauce or Butter and Sage sauce. Next time I will add some chopped herbs to the dough!
There were not as many choices as I would have liked so I did some more exploring online for private wine shops for at least one more bottle of wine from Médoc to try.
