2017 Wren (Chardonnay) Schell Wines Kelowna, BC $32.19 Golden straw colour with medium intensity. Apple, lemon, caramel, and vanilla with honeydew undertones on the nose. Well balanced. Ricotta Gnocchi goes well with a nice tomato sauce or Butter and Sage sauce. Next time I will add some chopped herbs to the dough!
There were not as many choices as I would have liked so I did some more exploring online for private wine shops for at least one more bottle of wine from Médoc to try.

This dish celebrates the last of my fall harvest from the local farmer’s market. Zucchini, Eggplant and Tomatoes are a wonderful combination in both tasting and presentation.
