#DRINKPINK a spring launch of rosé wines from around the globe!
I enjoyed the day and it was nice to sample so many different rosés. The majority of these wines were organic or biodynamic which is different than what I would normally choose.

Wendy (owner/founder) was at the helm the day we visited vinAmité. Wendy immediately exudes a warm welcoming to all who arrive on her doorstep. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and it was a delight to join in the conversation about the success of the little gem in the Oliver wine region.
The team at YEW seafood + bar is celebrating Spring by bringing back the ultra-popular family-style Spot Prawn Boil Dining Series. Guests will tie on a bib (yours to keep) and raise a complimentary glass of B.C. wine to begin the evening.
There are numerous opportunities to sample the new spring releases. This Spring Release Wine tasting Part One included wines from Australia, Austria, Chile and Italy. These selections were from the HQ Wines portfolio presented by Town Hall Brands held at the Listel Hotel in late March.
So where did we go? Well after thinking about Au Comptoir recently on a Tuesday, and being disappointed to remember it was closed on Tuesdays, we decided to stroll the four or five blocks west on 4th Avenue and check out how busy they might be.

The much anticipated #TofinoEats Chef Series dinner featuring the culinary magic of both guest Chef Alex Chen and hosting Chef Paul Moran was truly nothing short of outstanding.
Vancouver is a mecca of good dining establishments but often it is nicer to just stay in your own neighbourhood. Especially at this time of year when the sun is shining and it’s pleasant to walk to your destination.
The event was event a trade tasting format with lots of time to sample, ask questions and learn more about ‘Meet the Makers’ from Sheringham Distillery, Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse, Blue Grouse Estate Winery, Stag’s Hollow Winery, Fitzpatrick Family Vineyard, Ricco Bambino, and Roche Wines. Super excited to have our friends from Russell Brewing and Townsite Brewing. Truffles Catering and the Wandering Mollusk provided small bites to pair nicely with our tastings.
