#TasteofThursday Pappardelle paired with Howling Bluff

Today the #TasteofThursday recipe comes from Dana Reinhardt of Cook Italy. An accomplished chef and instructor this recipe is perfect for the season. I can see why Dana says it is one of her favourites. I can’t wait to try this one, paired with a favourite BC wine.

New South Okanagan Winery, Phantom Creek Estates, to Open Late Summer 2019

Led by an all-star winemaking team that includes Olivier Humbrecht MW (Domaine Zind-Humbrecht), Cameron Vawter (Napa’s Dana Estates) and Anne Vawter (Oakville Ranch, Red Mare), and designed by John Taft of Backen & Gillam Architects (Harlan Estate, Dana Estates, Ovid), Phantom Creek Estates announced that the new South Okanagan winery will open late summer 2019 for private tours and tastings by-appointment-only and will fully open to the public in 2020.

The 2018 Rieslings from Synchromesh are LIT for 2018. A return to a typical vintage and Alan’s famous“Bladerunner” acid range. Coastal Craft Beverages – Meet the Makers Summer 2019 Tasting Event

The event was event a trade tasting format with lots of time to sample, ask questions and learn more about ‘Meet the Makers’ from Sheringham Distillery, Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse, Blue Grouse Estate Winery, Stag’s Hollow Winery, Fitzpatrick Family Vineyard, Ricco Bambino, and Roche Wines.  Super excited to have our friends from Russell Brewing and Townsite Brewing. Truffles Catering and the Wandering Mollusk provided small bites to pair nicely with our tastings.
