Offering exciting tastes for those thirsty for new experiences.
On Saturday August 27, 2022, join the Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia and the BC Salmon Marketing Council for a celebration of an iconic BC product:
BC-based restaurant and foodservice industry support hub Breaking Bread has launched a photography fundraiser ‘Behind the Plexi’ to provide a helping hand to Vancouver’s restaurant industry workers in the time of COVID-19.
As fresh blueberry season is upon us, the BC Blueberry Council invites British Columbians to join in the annual excitement around the harvest of this locally grown superfood. July 15th, 2020 has been proclaimed BC Blueberry Day in British Columbia, and this date kicks off a summer-time celebration that will take place across the province called Go Blue BC.
“To be named as one of Canada’s best new restaurants is definitely something we couldn’t have anticipated,” says Shaun Layton, who opened ¿CóMO? Taperia last year alongside fellow industry veterans Frankie Harrington and Justin Witcher. “All we wanted to do was give Vancouver a little piece of Spain we love so much. Where people can enjoy popular Spanish drinks and creative, yet, simple tapas together in an intimate space with fun and great hospitality. It’s an incredible honour.”
A percentage of all cocktail proceeds will be donated to QMUNITY, an LGBTQ community centre located on Bute Street in the Davie Village that works to improve queer, trans, and Two-Spirit lives by creating support, establishing connections, and providing leadership.
