It’s the most wine-derful time of the year! Once again, Stag’s Hollow has put together some festive Holiday Wine Packs and Shipping Specials to get you through the holidays.
First we started with a private wine tasting in the Poplar Grove wine club member’s tasting room.
In collaboration with the Heart of Wine Country’s annual Holiday Cheer, we’re pleased to offer a unique outdoor wine & food pairing experience on Nov 19 & 20.
The recipe has evolved a bit over the years but it remains a favourite and it is so easy to make. This year it was paried with the Vanessa Vineyards 2021 V Series.
Dinner was a collaboration between Mission Hill Winery Terrace Restaurant Exectuive Chef Patrick Gaylor and Teatro Group Chefs Matthew Batey and David Leeder.
Yields are as expected and up from last year. With the flavour and natural acid in this vintage, Ajay is expecting bright, aromatic white wines and red wines full of flavour and complexity.
The perfect spot to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning or a glass of wine in the afternoon. Cozy up with a good book on the veranda. There are so many nooks and crannies to lose yourself in quiet contemplation.
The Lillooet winery was recently awarded third place in the list of Top 10 Small Wineries of the Year selected by the National Wine Awards of Canada.
The pairing of the Fort Berens Estate Winery Small Lot Dry Riesling is excellent and goes nicely with the flavours of the beets and also stands up to the goat cheese and tangy dressing, not an easy feat to accomplish.Â
I can’t wait to go back again and experience a dinner at Phantom Creek Estates. The menu included so many options for mains that it makes you want to return again and again.
