Back Door wines were new to me and so I am embarking on a journey of discovery. So we will start together and as I taste the wines and I will update this feature as we go along.

Overall, the 2019 vintage was a moderately cool vintage with wines showing juicy and vibrant fruit, crisp acidity, moderate alcohol levels and ripe tannins in the red wines.

March is a great month at the house of Fitz. With St. Patty’s Day and our Founder’s Irish heritage, there is International Riesling day and most notably on, March 8th, it is International Women’s Day.
