The wine was the perfect accent for the Italian dish filled with yummy tomatoes and crispy bacon, enhanced with the tang of the arugula and made rich with fresh parmesan and al dente pasta.
I have been waiting for just the right dish to pair with the TIME Winery Viognier I received for a virtual tasting to celebrate Internation Women’s Day with a number of women wine bloggers and a few men included to mix things up a bit.

There are many versions of the Coquille St Jacques and I took inspiration from several with a mix and match list of ingredients. I was pleased with the result and was surprised at how easy it was to make. It is sure to impress.
