As a new convert to this delicately flavoured fish it is fast becoming one of my favourite dishes. Seared, baked or steamed this fish keeps it’s firm texture and retains its moistness. Delicious no matter how it’s prepared or served.
Definitely the star of this dinner was the Maverick Sauvignon Blanc that was the perfect match for the Roasted Zucchini with Garlicky Bread Crumbs and Mozzarella. Plus a repeat dish (a definite favourite) Italian Sausage Meatballs, this time with Marinara Sauce.
Our very first red in a bottle! Rubeus/Rubicon: Named after a river in Italy (the Rubicon) that marked the point of no return. True to the origins of this wine, a portion of the different varietals used in this blend are co-fermented.
