I think one of the best things about Italian cooking is that it turns just a few ingredients into something special and most of the recipes are way easier than you might expect.
“In this series I will be sharing my take on which BC Wine pairs well with some inspirational recipes” Both of the seasonal dishes I have made lately are focused on fresh, local corn in a one dish pasta meal accompanied by two different salads of heirloom tomatoes and fresh BC peaches.

Located in the Fraserhood, ‘Say Mercy!’ is an unexpected love story between Italian and American Barbeque, bringing together two of Executive Chef Sean Reeve’s biggest passions.
The 5-course menu will be inspired by traditional Italian recipes re-invented by the visiting chefs of Professional Association of Italian Chefs (APCI) in collaboration with local Italian chefs, members of the Vancouver Chapter of APCI.
Very recently I had the opportunity to have dinner at Marcello’s and sat on the patio with a friend. I loved all the people watching from the sunny patio but the main attraction is definitely the food.
