A favourite of our #ThisWineThatDish series it is exciting to include these pairable wines that I know you are going to enjoy as much as I do.
Roasting the cauliflower tames the bitterness and brings out the sweet, crispiness that makes it so appealing in this dish. Add goat cheese, and the right wine, perfection!
This is a classic pairing with the rich and creamy dish of scallops and heavy cream (gasp!) so not a dish to eat every night but spectacularly delicious.
Definitely the star of this dinner was the Maverick Sauvignon Blanc that was the perfect match for the Roasted Zucchini with Garlicky Bread Crumbs and Mozzarella. Plus a repeat dish (a definite favourite) Italian Sausage Meatballs, this time with Marinara Sauce.
With summer dinners tending to be more casual this Roast Chicken was pretty basic, but equally delicious! No stuffing, no gravy! Just an easy prep and the BBQ result in a great family dinner.
Continuing on my theme of pairing a very good wine with a simple casual dish this one definitely fits the bill. What could be simpler, or easier, than leftovers. Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you this pairing is with leftovers!
This was a delightfully, wonderful choice to pair with the creamy, rich pasta and fresh garden vegetables. The wine was both light and complex.Smooth and crisp with aromas of Granny Smith apples.
Looking for something a little more casual? A North Kelowna hidden gem, CedarCreek’s Small Bites menu is a local favourite. Come in for a bottle and a bite off of our à la carte menu.
Little Engine Wines (“Little Engine”), a family owned and operated boutique artisan winery producing premium wines on the Naramata Bench of British Columbia, announced that they have launched their Piccolo Virtual Tasting Collection.
