From Monday, October 28 to Sunday, November 3, AnnaLena will be presenting a thoughtful Fall Harvest menu focusing on favourites of the season. The latest dinner series from AnnaLena is just the thing for this time of year – a prix-fixe menu featuring five courses from the award-winning culinary team.
Some stand-out wines of the evening included the 2018 Wild Goose Winery Gewurztraminer – drier this year than last – and the 2017 Moon Curser Touriga Nacional. DaSilva’s 2015 Syrah Malbec was one of the most interesting wines of the evening; it was coming from a super BC vintage and exuded a beautiful balance of fruit and spice.
Moon Curser Vineyards received an astounding 11 medals in the competition, including Platinum for its 2017 Touriga Nacional. Moon Curser Vineyards topped the standings for any winery producing fewer than 10,000 cases annually, and ranked second overall for all wineries in Canada.
