After four and one half weeks we’ve finished our #FavouriteThings Holiday Gift Suggestions we’ve been sharing with you. If a winery is offering a time sensitive wine or wine pack we will do our best to have those wineries features published first, or as we receive them. Just don’t wait too long. Avoid the disappointment of #soldout by ordering your wines early. Take note that the specially featured whisky is available in extremely limited quantities. The View Winery
Always a favourite of ours. I’ve said this before but it bears repeating. Some wines reflect a special personality, kind of like the winery owner in this case. Fun, exciting, easy to get along with, inspiring, confident and accomplished. Hard for us to chose just one or two wines from The View because we enjoy them all and can personally recommend them to you. Great for gift giving.
Blue Grouse Estate Winery
I always have at least one Blue Grouse Quill in my wine fridge, or at least I try to, it can be hard to keep without drinking it. The Quill wines are my “go to” wines when we get unexpected company and I want to introduce them to the delightful Vancouver Island wines. Some people are surprised that Vancouver Island has such noteworthy wineries. I tell them they need to get out more! Explore the Island because there is lots to offer. Cowichan Valley is beautiful and a great place to visit.
